The party was divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, "Steadfast Original Aspiration", students from different schools took the stage one after another, paying tribute to the extraordinary years with splendid performances. Recitations such as "Victory Memorial Day, I See That Light" by students from the School of Public Health, song-and-dance performances "Chapter" and "Light" by students from the School of Dental Medicine and School of Clinical Medicine, and a guitar performance "As Wish" by students from the School of Health Management were presented in succession. With resounding voices as their backbone and graceful movements as their charm, the students vividly depicted the arduous struggles of the predecessors during the War of Resistance, transforming the spiritual faith behind the "light of victory" into a soul-stirring experience interwoven with sound and imagery that deeply moved the audience.
In the chapter "Suzhou Charm Like a Song", the instrumental group of the art ensemble performed "Jingwei", blending melodious traditional music with modern electronic sounds and drumbeats, reflecting both the unyielding spirit of the War of Resistance period and the vibrant vitality of the new era. At the "Ink Shadow Through the Ages" fashion show, clothing featuring Suzhou embroidery and ink-wash elements complemented the backdrop of Suzhou gardens, while models' elegant paces outlined the serene beauty of the Jiangnan watertown. The chorus "Falling Leaves Return to the Roots" sang of the attachment of the new generation to the motherland with its warm melody, prompting many teachers and students below the stage to hum along, cherishing the happiness of current life.
In the third chapter, "Dreams Like Light", students from the art ensemble's drama group and choir performed the recitation drama "Starlight of Faith", created based on their summer "Three Rural Areas" social practice, allowing all present to once again feel the power of faith. The group dance "The Choice" by female students, themed on the duty of angels in white to heal the wounded and rescue the dying, interpreted the oath of "choosing medicine is choosing to guard lives" with unified and firm movements.
During the "Youth Sing-Off" segment, freshman representatives from the School of Health Management, School of Pharmacy, School of Optometry and Ophthalmology, and other secondary schools took turns showcasing their voices. Red songs engraved with the memories of the era resounded throughout the venue. Students waved national flags and sang in chorus, revisiting the fervor and passion of the War of Resistance years through song.

"Remembering history is not forgetting the spirit; marching forward with heads held high, we are determined to fulfill every perseverance and charge!" The party concluded with the art ensemble choir's passionate performance of "I Love You, China". This evening party was not only a cultural feast to welcome new students but also an artistic ideological and political lesson integrating "historical education, cultural inheritance, and mission education" through music, dance, recitation, and other forms. By combining the red spirit with artistic expression, the collision of traditional culture with the spirit of the times, the party not only allowed grade 2025 freshmen to feel the warmth and vitality of SVHC but also guided them to deepen their sense of national sentiment through historical reflection, strengthen their confidence through cultural immersion, and clarify their direction through the call of mission. As one freshman wrote in their post-event reflection: "This party made me understand that 'youth' is not just about age but a responsibility of 'passing the torch and building dreams to move forward'. In the future, I will follow the example of our predecessors, use my profession as a weapon, and strive to be a medical student with warmth and responsibility."
