During the competition, organizers and experts provided on-site guidance, affirming that the event closely aligned with the actual needs of the elderly, incorporated real-life scenarios and industry standards, and provided a platform for participants to "enhance learning through competition". The contestants demonstrated solid foundational skills, delivering standardized care services in simulated scenarios with proficient operation and patient attitude, showcasing both professionalism and humanistic care.
Our college attached great importance to hosting the event, establishing a dedicated team to coordinate collaboration across multiple departments. Detailed plans were implemented for venue setup and logistical support, ensuring the "personnel, responsibility, and timeline" requirements were met, which facilitated the smooth progression of the competition and earned praise from all parties. This competition not only served as an evaluation of Suzhou's elderly care nursing talent but also as a window to showcase the "craftsmanship spirit". It aligned with the vocational education goal of "strengthening skills through competition", highlighted the distinctive characteristics of our college as a medical and health-oriented institution, and demonstrated the dual enhancement of talent cultivation and social service capabilities. Moving forward, our college will use the competition as a bridge to deepen the integration of the elderly care nursing program with the industry, fostering an atmosphere of "comparing skills and building craftsmanship" in Suzhou's elderly care service sector, and contributing to the high-quality development of elderly care in Suzhou.
