This competition not only comprehensively tested the Japanese language proficiency of the participants but also served as a platform to showcase the teaching achievements of Japanese language programs in vocational colleges. Hou Yanan, as the only non-Japanese major student, stood out with remarkable performance. In the speech contest, she integrated her background in pharmacy into her presentation, passionately depicting her vision for her future career under the theme "Me in Ten Years." She expressed her aspiration to contribute to China's grassroots healthcare sector by utilizing her pharmaceutical knowledge to serve elderly residents in rural areas, thereby enhancing the level of primary healthcare services in our country.

This award not only recognizes Hou Yanan's personal efforts but also acknowledges the achievements of our college's Japanese language teaching and interdisciplinary education. We will take this opportunity to further strengthen the integration of foreign language education with medical and health education, cultivating more interdisciplinary talents with international perspectives and professional skills, and contributing more outstanding talent resources to society.
