The "China-ASEAN Thousand Schools Hand in Hand Initiative" was announced by Premier Li Qiang when he attended the 26th China-ASEAN (10+1) leaders' meeting in September 2023 and was included in the "List of Cooperation Initiatives of the Leaders' Series Meetings on East Asian Cooperation". In the list of the first batch of selected schools of the "China-ASEAN Thousand Schools Hand in Hand Initiative" announced in September, our school is honored to be on the list. This honor is not only a recognition of our implementation of the "1+3+N" education model reform and the internationalization of health vocational education, but also another major breakthrough after being selected into the "Young Envoys Scholarship" (YES program) in April this year. Taking this opportunity, our school will continue to deepen educational cooperation with ASEAN countries and promote the sharing and exchange of educational resources.
Looking ahead, our school will adhere to the principle of educational opening up to the outside world, further deepen close cooperation with ASEAN educational institutions such as Lao Soochow University and Sihanoukville Institute of Business and Technology, as well as state-controlled enterprises such as China-ASEAN Information Harbor Co., Ltd., strengthen cooperation in fields such as teacher and student exchanges, talent cultivation, and scientific research, improve the quality of cultivating international talents, and practically promote educational connectivity and mutual learning between China and ASEAN, and fully serve the development of the China-ASEAN comprehensive strategic partnership.
