The visiting tour was divided into three parts. The first part – visiting the Medicinal Plant Garden. In the two characteristic areas of "Authentic Medicinal Materials of Jiangsu Province" and "Eight Flavors of Zhejiang", Ms. Wang Huifang introduced the growth habits, morphological characteristics and efficacy value of Chinese medicinal materials one by one. Like "Shennong” who tasted hundreds of herbs, the international students, by picking, touching, or smelling perilla, peppermint, motherwort, artemisia annua, peony and other medicinal plants with local characteristics of Wudi, felt the coolness of mint, the bitterness of motherwort and the fragrance of citron. The second part – visiting the Herbarium of Chinese Medicine. Through the vivid explanations of Ms. Tan Rulan and Ms. Zhou Yang, the international students got to know the specimens of Chinese herbal medicines, Chinese herbal waxy leaf specimens and impregnated specimens. They expressed their admiration for the diversity and richness of Chinese medicine, and had in-depth exchanges with the teachers on the culture and knowledge of Chinese medicine. The third part - making Chinese medicine sachets. By making Chinese medicine sachets, the international students learned the use of traditional Chinese medicine scales and experienced the long-standing traditional Chinese medicine culture.

The experiencing activities were well-received by the international students. The visiting tour promoted inter-school exchanges, and was also an important measure for SVHC to spread the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture. SVHC will continue to optimize the activities held by the "Wumen Medicine" International Promotion Base, tell Chinese stories well, convey Chinese voices, and ignite the spark of spreading Chinese medicine culture to the world.
