Felling & Pruning
Tree Felling - Dead or dangerous trees may need to be felled for safety reasons or they may just have outgrown their position. We can source and replant a suitable replacement. Tree Pruning - Our tree pruning service can remove individual branches that are diseased or overhanging properties. This also includes crown reduction and crown thinning See also – Stump Grinding in Other Services

Crown Thinning & Reduction
Crown Reduction: When a canopy of a tree is too dense or heavy it can cause many problems including blocking out light, it can create a windsail which can cause the tree to uproot in high winds. To help with this we select specific branches and remove them from the crown while still keeping a natural shape to the tree. Please remember, if you simply top or pollard a tree in this situation you may create a more dangerous tree; we do not carry out these procedures. Crown Thinning: This form of tree pruning is used when a tree has become too large for its space but you don’t want the tree removed. The overall height and width of the tree is reduced while still retaining its natural shape.

Cable Bracing
Tree support systems are used to provide extra support and help to multi stemmed large trees by easing the pressure on weak unions. This can be done with dynamic Cobra Bracing, or fixed steel rods and wires. You can prolong the life of your tree by many years and not incur large felling costs. |
In addition to these services, the most recognisable and frequently used in tree surgery, we also offer additional, sometimes less well-known services. These - stump grinding, hedge trimming, site clearance and vegetation removal - are detailed under Other Services.
